Finding words to describe the impact Claire and the team at Black Finn had on our wedding is not easy.
As I have said (and as my now husband also said in his speech) this wedding simply would not have happened without you. Your calm, measured and eternally knowledgeable presence, both in the lead up and on the big day itself, was immeasurable.

For those who are amid wedding planning and thinking of investing in a planner/stylist/coordinator - do not hesitate. From my very first enquiry, Claire understood our vision and vibe and was able to coordinate extraordinary vendors who exceeded our expectations and created the most exceptional memories, not only for us but for our guests - who I still receive praise from months later.

On the day itself, many (many) things went… let’s just say not according to plan. We were 'lucky' to be married on the wettest Melbourne day in November on record. Claire was incredible at pivoting plans and ensuring we never felt the full extent of the chaos. She was so right in saying that nothing really matters on the day - but I’m not sure how true that would have been if it wasn’t for Claire’s calming presence on the day.

As a couple, we probably weren’t the best at wedding planning. We’re pretty indecisive, big procrastinators, and we were also working with a fairly small budget. Claire was fantastic at reminding me that it was our day, and that we should do things the way we wanted, for us. It may not have been traditional, but she was steadfast in making sure everything was perfect for us. Claire never once made me feel like our budget was less deserving of a beautiful wedding, and for that we are forever grateful.

We’ll always look back on our wedding with such full hearts - and that’s entirely thanks to Claire and the team at Black Finn.

Where do we begin in acknowledging how incredible Claire is? We engaged Claire as our on-day coordinator as we were getting married across 2 x venues and felt we needed some extra support on the day. We got SO much more than on-day support from Claire! Not only did she help us build the perfect timeline for the day, really helping me (type-A personality) relax and not stress, she worked with us from 8 weeks out, joining us for site visits, contacting our vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page.

Claire is so down to earth and calm but most importantly is super honest about what will and won’t work- myself and my fiancé really appreciated this- no wishy washy responses, only clear communication.

We truly had the most incredible day, all made better by having her guidance there throughout the last 8 weeks and beyond.

Im so glad we had Claire’s professional experience and guidance of weddings to help us with the planning and making sure everything went off without a hitch. It was so relaxing knowing someone else had our back on the day and made sure it all ran smoothly behind the scenes, not to mention, she made sure we always had a drink in hand, and food put aside if we were busy!

Having Claire as our wedding planner was the best decision we made! She made the entire process so calm, fun and special.

During the planning process Claire was always super responsive and organised and had so many great suggestions and supplier recommendations which made the whole process feel like a breeze.

From the set up, to liaising with all of the suppliers, the styling, ensuring everyone was in the right place at the right time, making sure myself and my partner always had a drink in hand and were fed to even packing up. Full disclosure, we engaged with Claire with only three months until go-time. And thank every god and deity that we did. We had booked in the major parts of the day, had a fair idea of what we wanted to do and how we wanted it, but with four different venues we realised we needed help to manage the day.

Let me just say now, Claire is a godsend. From our first meeting I knew that we were in extremely calm and capable hands. Claire helped us run through the day to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything, which meant the day was able to run as smoothly as possible, without me having to worry about anything, ANNYTTTHINGGGG. Even a last minute wet-weather pivot wasn’t a problem for Claire, and helped us work it out to amazing result!

Throughout the day, Claire always made sure that we were able to be in the moment, enjoy ourselves (and that we were hydrated and had food in our tummies), with such warmth and a cool calming presence.

I highly recommend to all who are getting hitched to engage in an expert to help manage their day, with Claire being the number one option. The day went so well, even better than we had expected, and we have Claire to thank.

I was after a wedding stylist to help bring my vision to life and, from our first conversation, Claire was amazing to work with. I was so confused when I contacted Claire with conflicting style choices and colours but instantly felt at ease with her warmth, experience, and ability to understand exactly what I wanted - minimalist, romantic, "less is more".

Claire was so organised and detailed. She even helped with tips and insights on other parts of wedding planning, always offering support whenever we spoke. I also had Claire in charge of the on-day styling and having her there on the day was the icing on the cake. I had sneak peaks of the venue while I was getting ready and seeing the finished product was the part I was most looking forward to. From flowers to signage - each element complemented and elevated the natural beauty of the venue. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and we couldn't be happier.
